Sultan Attahiru Tomb
The Tomb of Sultan Attahiru is
in Bormi near Bajoga. Sultan Attahiru’s last stand against the invading British
army was at Bormi and eventually the Sultan died with more than 1000 of his followers at the second battle of
Bormi in 1903.The last stand of the Sultanate of Usman Dan Fodio against the British colonial invaders, in
which Attahiru died along with: Etsu Nupe Abubakar, Emir of Misau Ahmadu, Madakin Kano Kwairanga, Waziri of
Zazzau, Magaji Keffi Danyamusa, Alkalin Kano, Bamajin Kano, Ubandoman Kano and their host Sarkin Bajoga on
27th July 1903 
Bubayero Tomb
The first Emir of Gombe is
Bubayero and his tomb is at Gombe Abba, a village near Dukku, in Dukku Local government Area of the
State. The emirate
of Gombe was founded by
Bubayero who was recommended to Uthman dan Fodio by Yakubu. He made Gombe Abba his
headquarters

Ancient Binga Ruins
The ancient Binga ruins is an ancient ruins of the famous Pindiga Jukun Chiefdom that
served as an arm of the then Kwararafa Kingdom and is located 3km south-west of present Pindiga town.
Major Marsh Grave at Bormi
At Bormi battle ground there is also the grave of the commander of the
British Royal Regiment; Major F.C. Marsh who led the Imperial Royal Force against the
Sultan.
Lt.
Phillips Grave Near Ture
Lieutenant Phillips had been serving in the
Northern Nigeria Regiment since October 1902, when he was transferred to the Political Department in
September 1904. After three years on probation his appointment as an Assistant Resident was approved in
January 1907, just three months before his death at the age of 27.

Bage
Hills (Bolawa Old Settlement)
Bage hill is
about 64 kilometres along Bajoga – Potiskum road. It is known to be an old settlement of the Bolawa tribesmen
long before the Fulani Jihad of 1817. The relics and remnants of houses, walls, well and other ruins are
clear evidence of the existence of an ancient busting settlement on the Bage hill. It is good for historical
researchers and sightseeing.
Tula Hideout
Caves
The
escarpment, off the road immediately after the Government Girls College Tula, is remembered as the hill where
Tula people used to face other tribes during inter-tribal wars. The entrance
into the hideout cave is about 10 meters long and 2 meters wide.
